Position Summary
As a Backend PHP Developer at our company, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the core functionalities of our group buying platforms. You will work closely with our team of developers and product managers to deliver high-quality backend solutions that meet our users' needs. Your expertise in PHP development and understanding of group buy mechanics will be crucial in driving the success of our platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP code.
- Implement performance and quality modules to ensure high performance and responsiveness of our group buying platforms.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Work with the database team to ensure seamless data storage and retrieval.
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
- Stay informed of new technologies and best practices in backend development and group buying trends to suggest improvements and innovations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer with strong proficiency in PHP programming.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software engineering principles.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.
- Familiarity with PHP web frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or similar.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3) and jQuery is a plus.
- Understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in group buying platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
